This week has been a pretty productive but challenging week. My plants that are growing inside are doing pretty well.  On the contrary the plants I planted outside in the garden for comparison are not growing well at all. In my perfect little dream world I would be harvesting Swiss chard from the garden and the “Hydroponic Tower” at copious rates and gifting the pretty leaves to anyone wanted them. In reality the cold has made it hard for the plants in the garden to grow…. I also learned a little bit about the shelf life. This week I harvested some chard, I wanted to share it with another department on campus, I forgot to take it to the other department and overnight it completely wilted.
