Harvest

Yesterday I spent some time in-between classes to cut down some of the Swiss-chard. It is unbelievable how big these plants got. I might add they are very tasty too. The amount of time and effort put into cultivating these plants is really paying off.  I have found the hydroponic plants in my experiment have for outgrew the garden. I hypothesize the garden’s slow growth to be because of the unseasonably cold weather in the phoenix area this winter. In-between warm spurts the plants grow a little bit and when it gets colder the plants growth is halted. I look forward to figuring out where to donate the harvest to.
