Vitamin BBBBBB Healed
Swiss Chard is packed with vitamins A, C, K, B. The generally accepted theory is these vitamins are all good for you at least as I know it. This week I found myself talking to a stranger at a bar. We spoke a little bit about how Boston (New England) teams are dominating sports right now, we talked about the really cool snow in parts of Phoenix and then he asked me what I kind of food I liked the most. Being the semi-sarcastic lad I am, I told him, "right now I love Beta vulgaris...the chard type." The moment I mentioned a vegetable he rattled back at me his recent life story. He told me he only ate meat and believed that all the other food groups were "pushed on us" by lobbying pros at the D.C. level. I did not argue my thoughts I just listened and observed. As I gained cognizance of the bigger picture I realized my new found stranger was in danger. As he spoke poorly of my homie Chard on one hand, he relayed to me his recent trips to see the on-call physician on the other. I digress. The point is we ultimately spoke about chard. Finally I showed him a picture of my chard, we talked about the colors the taste and the texture, finally we researched what vitamins were in chard which made Mister stranger look up the benefits of vitamins. Long story short (Well not really short), he decided it was time to give vegetables a try.
